First New Fire Stations in 70 Years for the City of Warren
Client: City of Warren Fire Department
Location: Warren, MI
Area/SF: 13,000 SF
Category: Public Safety & Emergency Operations
City of Warren Fire Station #5
The City of Warren constructed two new fire stations as part of a major public safety investment. These identical 13,000-square-foot facilities are the city’s first new fire stations in nearly 70 years and are designed to serve the evolving needs of the Warren Fire Department well into the future. Each station features three 80-foot apparatus bays, dedicated training areas, decontamination rooms, individual sleeping quarters, and modern kitchen, fitness, and living spaces.
The new locations were strategically selected to improve emergency response times, with Station 1 moving to a central civic campus location and Station 5 relocating to better serve Warren’s northeast quadrant, which sees the highest call volume. These projects are part of the city’s broader commitment to public safety, firefighter wellness, and long-term operational efficiency.
