Enhancing Public Safety: A New Police Facility Designed for a Growing Community

The Green Oak Township Police Facility is a state-of-the-art, 17,100-square-foot building located at the northwest corner of the Silver Lake Road and M-23 intersection in Brighton, Michigan. 

This new facility represents a key component of the township’s long-term master plan to develop a public service campus that meets the needs of its growing population. Designed to accommodate a wide range of functions, the facility provides critical resources for both law enforcement operations and community engagement.

Dedicated spaces include areas for criminal investigations, evidence processing and storage, detainee processing and holding, and records management. These spaces were designed with efficiency and security in mind, ensuring smooth operations and safeguarding sensitive information and materials. The facility also features a modern training room, equipping officers with the tools and space needed for ongoing professional development.  Additionally, the building includes well-appointed locker rooms to enhance the functionality and comfort of the department’s personnel.
